Virtual StoryFaces: Visual Storytelling Program

See the trailer:SFMovieTrailer

Christopher Agostino’s innovative visual storytelling in a new video created to encourage students to imagine their own stories and new ways to tell them. Featuring a “chalk-talk” style demonstration of a hands-on, at-home activity, in which students create an original story starring themselves. Plus 4 of my most popular tales told in a new way — illustrating video of live performances with painted face images — chosen to delight viewers and inspire the imagination. Two of my uniquely animated original tales, “The Tiger That Went to the House of the Sun” and “The Amazing Face Story”, come to life on the faces of audience volunteers in school presentations. Also included is an interactive telling of the Aesop Fable “The Lion and the Mouse” and a newly illustrated version of the inspirational hero tale from ancient China, “Li Chi Slays the Dragon”.

Please see The StoryFaces Movie for full description, teacher’s guide and activities.

Virtual Magic of David Levitan

Master magician David Levitan offers a variety of live virtual programs or outdoor performances for schools and family audiences.  No matter if presented “in person” or “virtually” the students have a blast.  For younger audiences David creates the illusion that the children posses the magical powers as they join him on a surprised filled adventure. For the upper grades David incorporates more sophisticated magic, sleight of hand and mind blowing mentalism.
